Is conjunctivitis contagious?
Viral and bacterial conjunctivitis are extremely contagious unless you take some preventive measures. The condition is contagious subsequently after the appearance of the symptoms and stays contagious until such time that there is an eye discharge. Viral conjunctivitis is highly contagious prior of the symptoms appearance and can still be contagious after the symptoms are clear.
