Is Conjunctivitis preventable?
A regular shot of Hemophilis B vaccine to infants can prevent few bacterial conjunctivitis cases. The condition can also be prevented by:
- Washing your hands regularly with water and soap
- Using sanitary paper towels in drying the hands
- Avoiding frequent rubbing of eyes
- Keeping away from eye irritants like smoke and perfumes.
- Trash used tissues, wash machine towels and other stuff that have been in contact with your eyes after usage.
- Keep your contact lenses clean at all times.
- Not sharing your make up as well as eye drops

Is conjunctivitis contagious?
Viral and bacterial conjunctivitis are extremely contagious unless you take some preventive measures.
